SUNNYLANDS

A place of history, hospitality, and diplomacy in the California desert. The estate of Ambassadors Walter and Leonore Annenberg was preserved as a sanctuary civil discourse and international relations. Today, the public is invited to learn about its history at Sunnylands Center & Gardens and explore its nine acres of desert gardens.

THE RIVER

Ranch Mirage’s premier, outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, The River offers a selection of familiar restaurants and fast casual dining options including PF Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory, and Five Guys; Century Theatres, with over ten screens; and a Dave & Buster’s. The River also hosts regular events in their on-air plaza and amphitheater, and features the largest supercharging station in Coachella Valley.

CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY MUSEUM OF THE DESERT

An invaluable resource for children and families in the Coachella Valley, the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert inspires personal growth by engaging creativity and imagination through interactive exhibits, artistic programs and discovery camps. The Museum was reimagined with 40 new, custom exhibits in 2024.

RANCHO MIRAGE OBSERVATORY

Part of the Rancho Mirage Library’s campus, the Observatory features a CDK 700 telescope capable of penetrating into deep space and distant galaxies, a rotating dome that opens to the night sky, and an outdoor observation deck where visitors can set up their own telescopes. GALLERI CLASSIC

Part of PGA TOUR Champions schedule, the Galleri Classic is in benefit of cancer-related causes. Held every March at the renowned Mission Hills Country Club, tour professionals including Hall of Fame members compete for the purse live on the GOLF Channel.
